Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2017 Northwest Conference on Childhood Grief a fantastic success! Nearly 100 attendees from many professions joined together to share keys to success and best practices when working with youth who have experienced traumatic loss in three relevant areas: mass shooting, natural disaster and suicide. Dr. Ted Rynearson opened the day with a keynote on research and outcomes in the traumatic loss and grief field. Other sessions offered a more specific focus on each type of loss, as well as panel discussions with grief counselors and others within the full continuum of care.
