The Healing Center is a grief-support community for children, teens, and families. Their programs offer a unique, long-term, multi-faceted approach to grief support, combining individual and group support with informal events and social networks. The Healing Center provides evidence-based peer support programs for children, teens and adults, serving more than 400 individuals annually. Creating a space to grieve – in the community of others – helps ensure children and teens have a place to express how they feel, find commonality with peers and learn to integrate grief into their lives productively. All groups are led by clinicians with Masters-level degrees and volunteer facilitators.
The Healing Center offers a safe, loving place that honors grief, helping you to move through it and heal. They serve adults, children, and young adults who have experienced the premature death of a spouse/partner, parent, or sibling.
