Over the past 30 years, Safe Crossings Foundation (SCF) has worked to build a robust network of grief support providers who can offer vital services to grieving children in our community. In response to appeals from members of this network, we host the annual Northwest Conference on Childhood Grief which allows a diverse range of social and healthcare workers, teachers, students, counselors, and therapists from all over the Pacific Northwest to learn best practices for dealing with grieving kids.
Following the first conference, one caregiver wrote,
“I felt completely fulfilled, inspired, nourished and thrilled. The feeling and experience has stayed with me to this day. I am deeply grateful and appreciative of all that Safe Crossings Foundation provided.”
Each year, SCF seeks a limited number of corporate sponsors to make the conference possible. It is only through the generous support of local organizations that we are able to accomplish such important work.
